Description: Beneteau First 40.7
CINNBAD is located in the Wide Bay Bar region of Queensland. She is a solid comfortable vessel that can be enjoyed for twilights or weekend racing or used for cruising with family and friends. This is a well maintained vessel with many upgrades and replacements including: standing rigging in (2018), sail drive overhaul (2020), through hull sail drive diaphragm replaced (2020), instrument updates (2019), new anchor winch (2020) (upgraded to 10 mm chain), electric toilet (2020), new stove (2020) and upgraded to lithium house batteries 2 x 200 amp hours in (2020) plus new stater battery in 2023.
In addition, the sail wardrobe has been upgraded with a new main sail - XRP cruising laminate (2023), Carbon sports Number 3 (2020), storm sail (never used) (2020), and Dacron cruising headsail (furling) (2020). All in as new condition. The main sail comes with a boom storage bag (2022) that incorporates shade covers for the boat. There are other older sails including spinnakers and racing head sails.
More recently the outboard engine was fully serviced in January 2024, the engine serviced in May 2024 as well as an overhaul of the heat exchange and exhaust systems. The boat was professionally antifouled in July 2024 including prop speed. This boat has always been well maintained.
The boat has been set up for cruising but is easily changed to racing mode by removing the dodger, dock boxes and putting on the racing sails. The boat comes with many extras and spare parts. A new buyer will not be disappointed with this "ready to sail" boat.
