Mateship is a 2002 Bavaria 34 now exclusively listed for sale with YOTI Sydney Harbour.

This J&J design is a delight on all fronts. The perfect first boat for a young family or the ideal easy to handle coastal cruiser for a couple. Well behaved and predictable, making short-handed cruising an absolute pleasure.

Mateship is a two-cabin layout, and her dark wood interior gives her a traditional snug feel - especially when the weather outside gloomy. She has a practical, no-frills layout, with straight settees that you can use as sea berths, a forward-facing chart table, a head at the foot of the companionway with a wet locker inside and a galley that works well at sea. Headroom is good, ventilation and natural light is plentiful, and stowage is excellent. She sleeps six easily in a well-proportioned double aft cabin, large V Berth as well as the saloon berths.

The galley is really functional with 12v top opening fridge, single basin stainless steel sink, and a two-burner gas stove with oven. The dinette utilises the full width of the saloon and will comfortably seat 6.

Her sail wardrobe includes a virtually unused Hood furling Genoa, a fully battened Dacron mainsail and a symmetrical spinnaker. There is a good array of electronics including Raymarine ST60 Wind, Raymarine ST60 Tridata (wind, speed and depth), and Raymarine ST6002 - Smart Pilot Wheel Steer Autopilot.
