If you are in the market for a true Bluewater cruiser with all the comforts and safety that can easily sail you round the world or just the Australia coast, as we did, this yacht is the perfect answer.
With its large volume and ample storage space you can easily explore remote areas for months without ever having to go into a marina.
With its 120 lph engine driven water maker, full size washing machine, 900 watts of solar and over 1000 amp hours of battery capacity, she'll take you to any remote anchorage you wish.
She is easily handled with all furling sails and electric Lewmar winch in the cockpit. You never have to leave the safety of the dry cockpit whilst sailing.
I once sailed her from Yamba to Gold Coast in 35-40k Southerly
With Head sail polled out and the auto pilot on the whole way with 3 meter trailing seas, and she handled it a lot better than I.
I have maintained Jasmyn in top condition over the last 14 years of ownership, I have only used the best components available. Which includes a Side Power bow thruster and a Bruntons Auto prop.
In 2016 we did a $40,000 refit, which included both mast removal and all rigging replaced, electrical conduits and lights replaced in both masts. Below waterline sandblasted and then epoxied, the top sides resprayed with Awlcraft.
The 140% Genoa is 2years old, made by Scooter sails. There are 2 MPS sails with snuffers for both masts for light airs.
The Perkins engine under 3000 hours since a full rebuild. I'm a diesel fitter and have maintained it in top condition.
She carries 1500 litres of fresh water in the keel and 820 litres of fuel in 2 stainless steel tanks.
There is a Pollycraft tuff tender on the large davits with a Tohatsu 9.8 and a Yamaha 3 for a spare.
Jasmyn On Blue has been an absolute pleasure to have owned and sailed, and is with a sad heart to be selling her. We aren't getting any younger and we wish to pursue other adventures whilst we still can.
