Description: Adams Traditional 36
Touch 'n' Go is the first hull of many Joe Adam's designed Traditional 36ers that went on to be a very popular yacht design for their well-balanced capability as a comfortable cruising vessel, as well as a competitive race yacht that performs well at all points of sail.
This Adams Traditional 36 is constructed with triple planked red cedar over spotted gum structure. This timber hull form was then used as the 'plug' to form the mold for the many fiberglass hull versions that followed. The vessel has in the last couple of months had a complete standing rigging replaced to a very solid masthead rigged mast.
She is a well-equipped and capable 'go anywhere' cruising yacht that has been extensively upgraded for shorthanded coastal cruising.
The boat has been owned for the last 6 years and we have frequently enjoyed sailing her in our local Moreton Bay and annual family cruises North up the Queensland coast. She has proven herself to be incredibly reliable, safe and a joy under sail with a well-balanced rig.

Since we have owned Touch 'n' Go - tens of thousands of dollars have been spent on upgrading and replacing her systems to make the vessel safe, comfortable, and easy to sail shorthanded. Upgrades have brought this vessel in line with modern electronics, navigation and cruising sail systems that would be expected on a significantly newer vessel.
