The Adams 31 centre cockpit makes for a nice weekend cruiser or liveaboard for a cruising couple. With over 184cm headroom, there's enough saloon space to relax, a decent sized forepeak for storage or an extra guest if required a small galley and decent sized heads. Typical designed for Joe Adams's diminutive stature, Eclipse's access to the aft cabin from the saloon is just 160cm but it does take you through to a very large aft berth. She's powered by a very reliable 17hp Volvo Penta diesel and he sails are in good condition. Unfortunately over the years this quite lovely and very well built centre cockpit cruiser has not been generously cared for and she now is in need for some remedial work - most of which is cosmetic, but Eclipse is well overdue for an antifoul and new rigging. On the cosmetic side she would really benefit from restoring all of and replacing some of, the timbers below decks, new upholstery, new canvas for the dodger and bimini and a very good clean and polish of the decks and topsides. Those willing to roll up their sleeves and bring her back to her gleaming best will benefit from a lovely comfortable, easily handled, compact cruising, Joe Adams classic. All serious offers will be considered and she can be inspected by contacting Australiawide Boat Sales, Manly Qld.
