Description: Adams 20
Helsal 3 is a McConaghy built Adams 20m. Solidly built and continually upgraded to allow current owners to race in the Sydney to Hobart and more casually in the Whitsundays most years at either Airlie beach or Hamilton Island race week.

In the last 5 years, she has had a brand new, taller, lighter mast and boom incl rigging replaced to improve her light air performance.
New 110 hp Yanmar engine which pushes the boat at an impressive 9.5 knots. Also noteworthy is the new Dovel designed fin lead keel which was machined and installed in 2019.

Her sail wardrobe has been updated with main, headsails and spinnaker.

Recently replaced Raymarine instruments include plotter and autopilot.

Helsal also benefits from a large 3000 watt invertor where her galley components happily run the huge freezer (great for long races), kettle, microwave and supposidly the crew favourite sandwich maker. Spacious below deck accomodations with 2 enclosed heads and comfortable berths make this 60 footer an ideal race, training or adventure yacht.

Helsal 3 has tasted success in recent years in PHS division. Twice winning Syd to Hob, Airlie beach and Bird island races. Recently in category 1 safety, she is ready to continue her journey, making memories for those that step aboard. Freshly antifouled in August 2024. Recent boat survey available on application for interested buyers.
