whale watching business in Hervey Bay. The current owners have been operating since
1991.

Fleet Information
Tasman Venture has continually upheld a high standard of experience delivery
throughout its three decades of operation with numerous vessel upgrades over the
years. They currently have two main vessels in the fleet to accommodate the tours they
operate year-round.
The vessel, 'Tasman Venture III', was purpose built by the owners in 1994. It is an
18.67m fast and luxurious New Wave catamaran. The specifically designed vessel has
large decks, including a water level viewing platform and underwater viewing rooms.
Tasman Venture is air conditioned and is fitted with Wi-Fi facilities. The vessel
accommodates 125 passengers in 1D survey, 50 passengers in 1C survey, and 24
passengers in 1B survey with overnight accommodations for up to 14 passengers. A
spare motor and gearbox will be provided that has 20,000 hours.
The latest addition to the Tasman Venture fleet is 'Pure Dive', purchased in 2020 to
accommodate the increased demand in the Remote Fraser Island tour and to provide a
higher-level of comfort, safety features and luxury to passengers. This vessel was built
in 2008 and is a 19.21m New Wave Catamaran. It accommodates 48 passengers in 1C survey
and 15 passengers in 2B overnight survey.

SeaLegs vessels (140HP motors) including one trailer, two 4.1m Polycraft boats (30HP
motors) including one trailer, one 4,2m Allycraft (30HP motor), one 4.55m Polycraft
(40HP motor) registered an including trailer, one Avon Inflatable (15HP motor).
Additionally, included is a 25-seater ROSA bus and a 2013 For Ranger PX XLT Utility
Cab 4 Door 6 Speed Auto. Both of these vehicles have been branded with our current
logo designs.
