Voyager 1040's are capable and comfortable cruisers, built to fit in standard 12-metre-monohull berths. All the benefits of a catamaran, minus the expensive mooring fees.

Twin shaft drive Steyr 166hp diesels push 'Andakat' along at a comfortable 16kt cruise using 45L per hour combined. Upper and lower helm stations both with chart plotters and electronic controls. From the flybridge station, visibility is excellent which is essential when docking.

The large duckboard houses the Voyager 2.7m shuttle which is stored via the deck crane. The cockpit is spacious, with plenty of storage and to starboard a bench seat, chest style freezer and ice box.

The saloon is complete with a dinette to port, and galley opposite. Gas cooktop, convection microwave, fridge and sink cover all the necessities.

In the port hull, there is a single and small double cabin. The starboard hull is for the owners, having a larger double cabin and bathroom with shower/head.

A fan-favourite feature is access to the flybridge via a moulded stairway, not a rickety ladder. The bridge has ample seating, a wet bar and all the usual gauges/electronics.

These boats are an ideal family cruiser for Moreton Bay, the Whitsundays, Sydney or anywhere in between.
