This Steber 41 is clean from end to end, top to bottom. You just need to see it for yourself.
The Steber range of vesels are fitted with keels for directional stability and protection.
I believe you can tell a true boatman by how well his engine room is presented. This one is spotless.
The timber fit-out is unmarked. The decor has all been renewed, including re-lining and upgrading the living areas / carpets / upholstery / headlining.
Come see for yourself. The boat is well balanced in its configuration and layout, with a generous size aft cockpit. In its 41ft there is a second internal driving position plus a very comfortable saloon. And there is still room in its 41ft to have two comfortable sleeping cabins, (Master with an island berth).
No surprise here that the electrical upgrade includes all new electronics.
I took this beauty for a 5 hour sea trial. The twin 320 HP Cummins run very sweetly. With a top speed of 18/20 knots and a cruise speed of anywhere between 10 knots to 15 knots. Fuel burn at 10 knots is circa 25 litres per hour, achieved on a recent trip up the NSW coast.
The main engines have had all the important bits recently serviced, ie heat ex changers / salt water engine pumps / risers / elbows / coolers / exhaust jackets.
The electrical upgrade included new AGM batteries plus an integrated Victron charging system and solar panels.
During my 5 hour sea trial I took the opportunity to run all the systems and everything worked.... (nice change from most).
To upgrade and to refit a vessel to this stage and to be so thorough about it, the cost would be eye watering.
