RIVIERA 40 AFT CABIN - A BRILLIANT LIVEABOARD. ABSOLUTE COMFORT!  

Have you ever spent time on a boat with an aft cabin? In my opinion they offer so much more the the standard cockpit layout boats. For the most you really don't lose any space on your rear deck. The elevation above the water provides a beautiful outlook, a balcony overlooking the ocean. It's also rare to find three generous cabins with two bathrooms on a footy footer.

'Tickety Boo' boasts an enormous swim platform so effectively you gain the best of both worlds - aft cabin, raised cockpit and a platform for fishing, storing the toys or just sitting and pondering. As you'll see by the short video, a couple of deck chairs and a brolly at water level out of the breeze behind your boat - just heaven!

In many standard configuration boats the accommodation often lets you down. Not however in the Riviera Aft Cabin model. Effectively you have a 4m x 4m bedroom with a walk around queen size berth, your own private ensuite and to top it off, minimal water lapping noise. You will forget you are on the water until you peep out the rear window and see the view.

From the aft cabin and up three steps you enter the saloon. This features an L-shaped lounge, room for free standing chairs and large opening windows which provide the perfect vista while seated. Her galley is forward and to port, a mezzanine style not unlike that of the standard Riviera 40 flybridge. This features the usual underbench fridge and microwave oven - all of your home comforts

In the forepeak there are two more cabins including an island berth, two singles plus a shared bathroom.

1. The 3 cabin and two bathroom layout is gold however there is room for eight if you needed to accommodate more friends
2. The aft cabin layout provides numerous places to hang out. From the top flybirdge lounge to the rear deck, and also the swim deck. So many places to ponder life.
3. The 70 litres per hour water maker supplies endless water - no need to skimp on those hot showers
4. The master and guest beds have custom made mattress's - this provides such a comfortable nights sleep, you really won't want to go home
5. Tickety Boo is so easy to skipper with the full navigation suite - including Auto pilot, Raymarine GPS and the addition of a bow thruster.
6. There is no shortage of storage or refrigeration. She is a 40 footer which bats way above her league
7. Money has been well spent on extras to keep her modern - Including led lights so she burns less power, solar blanket to keep batteries topped up reducing the genset running time.
8. Three magnificent places from which to watch the sunsets - Park yourself on the swimboard deck chairs, on the rear deck balcony or way up on the flybridge
