A classic boat perfect for our robust West Australian conditions whether that be a trip up the river for lunch, a weekend or more at Rottnest, a couple of weeks down at Quindalup in summer or for the more adventurous a trip to the Abrolhos Islands in May.

She has a lovely light, airy feel in the saloon with lounges, timbered cuboards and benches, a dinette which can easily convert into a double bed if required and a helm with all the ships instruments.

Galley is in the main saloon opposite helm station with sink and 2 plate induction stovetop and a brilliant combo microwave, convection oven underneath. LED lighting throughout the boat. Carpet and soft furnishings throughout the saloon with some lovely timber joinery. Ample storage throughout boat.

Accomodation is forward in 2 Cabins. Main cabin with double bed seriously revamped in 2010 and V berth newly unholstered with 3 bunks and lots of storage. Attractive head with shower, wash basin and fresh water toilet.

Spacious aft deck with a 24 volt fridge / freezer chest which runs off shore power, gen set and solar. Fish cleaning tray and wash down pump, back deck showers x 2 and access to a great duckboard with swim ladder. Spotlights on aft deck.

Practical Flybridge with ample seating and access to dingy davits and crane.

Randel built strong boats with great seakeeping qualities. Aries has always been maintained to a very high standard by fastidious owners and presents in very good condition.

Major upgrades.

A major upgrade in 2007 included two new Yanmar 6 cylinder diesel engines and ZF Marine gearboxes.
5KVA Sea Wasp genset in sound proof enclosure.
New epoxy paint to hull and topsides.
New HDP plastic water and fuel tanks.
Quality teak fit out to aft deck.

Further upgrades in 2022.

The following items where removed and professionally serviced.
Aftercoolers x 2, Heat exchanges x 2, Engine oil coolers x 2, Gear box oil coolers x 2.
New Mastervolt 24 volt 1600 inverter. New Mastervolt, 12 volt, 2 bank battery charger. New RCD's fitted. New Genset battery charger fitted. 2 x 360 watt 24 volt solar panels fitted and all electrical wiring looked over and tidied.
The solar upgrade enables the battery house bank to supply ample power to run the boat for extended stays at Rottnest.


Hardstand FSC annual maintenance Prestige Marine Nov 2023

Removed rudders, propellers, shafts and couplings.
Removed and replaced rear cutlass bearings.
Removed PSS shaft seals and both given new kits.
Prop shafts checked for true and balance. Replaced stern tube plate bolts.
New SS elbow to gen set exhaust.

Antifoul and prop speed to shafts and props. Hull waxed and polished 2023.

Lounge chairs new upholstery in main saloon 2023. New 240 volt fridge / freezer to saloon.


All in all, a well priced, very well maintained boat in very good condition with years and years of great boating ahead and all sytems ready to go. Its all been done.
