This SEATAMER Vessel named 'KRAKEN FISH FINGERS' is selling for ONLY $130,000, which is a very low price considering what it is and how well its been maintained.
Its currently a commercial fishing registered vessel in NSW with AMSA, or it can also easily be transferred and registered as a domestic registered vessel with its supporting boat code letter/certificate that can be supplied by the current owner (as in April 2025 it was inspected and passed by NSW Maritime to be ready for NSW domestic recreational registration). NOTE that domestic rego is not being sold with this vessel, yet is easily able to be arranged by the buyer with the provided paperwork.
The current owner is selling as regretfully giving up on commerical fishing, and relocating to QLD.
ABOUT THE VESSEL
- This is one of the safest and most sturdy SEATAMER vessels due to its foam filled hull (positive boyancy) and its currently commercially registered with AMSA in 3C and 2C classes as a Transitional Vessel (*meaning that because of all the extra modern safety requirements it has passed for its commercial classes of operations, it meets all of the new modern commercial safety standards well and truely. Therefore, this vessel can be used for any operations in any Australian State from commercial fishing to being a work boat and even commercial charter operations once the right transfer/approval paperwork is submitted to AMSA).
- The Vessel can be used for Commercial Fishing (*under a LFB Licence, which is seperately for sale by the owner) and/or Charter Fishing (*if you have a CFB Licence, which is not for sale with this vessel) or a Workboat or many other operations in any state on Transfer of the AMSA Certificate of Survey under the new owners Certificate of Operations. Note that the Vessel is not due for its Commercial 10-year renewal survey until 2033, so no need to worry about this hasstle for a long time yet.
- The Vessel can also easily be used/registered as a Domestic Recreational Vessel as the owners have been issued all of the paperwork from Maritime NSW to ensure the buyer can register this vessel the for Recreational Vessel use via Transport for NSW.
- There is NO TRAILER included with the vessel, as it is currently Moored (*even though it can easily be trailered). Our close friend owns a Boat Transport business, so we are happy to pass on his details if you need this.
- The VOLVO PENTA 64-260 engine (in 2024) was completely reconditioned at FENQUINS Volvo Marine (the Authorised Volvo Dealer and Original Engine Installer), which was only around 300 engine running hours ago. This works was claimed on the current owners commercial insurance and in total costed over $70,000. The works included fitment of a new fuel rail and filter assembly, a new Turbo, a New Sump, replacement of all sensors, replacement of all pulleys tensioners etc, replacement of piston rings/gasket seals, servicing of the cooling system and heat exchanger, new control cables, new uni-joint, new bellhousing, new flywheel, new stainless duo-prop and all the other brackets hoses clamps wiring done. The Engine was also repainted, and a new electric powered hydraulic clutch pump (for the Trap winch) was installed. All of this works have given the engine a significant life extension.
- In December 2024, a brand new AQUAMATIC DRIVE (including the BELLOWS KIT and Exhaust) was fitted at a cost of over $24,000 so the drive is in perfect brand-new condition.
