North Sea classic
DALLAS BROOKS is a north sea classic designed craft by J. Tyrell of Arklow Ireland, built by Cayzer Bros, Queenscliff in1960.
The construction was overseen by the Ports and Harbours Division of the Public Works Dept of Victoria.
The vessel and her equipment was refurbished in 1986 at Williamstown by Ports and Harbours.
The vessel was engaged in Port duties around the Victorian coast including re-blasting operations at Port Phillip Heads.
Some improvements whilst in private hands since then.
