Mustang 3800 Royal Sportscruiser - The Clean Machine
By all accounts this Mustang 3800 Sports Cruisers has to be one of the best presented I have had the opportunity to sell. Her low engines hours are certainly not indicative of the time her owner spends looking after her, he is meticulous!Having previously been the WA Mustang dealer for eight years and a owner of a 3800, I do have a soft spot for them. Their wide 12ft 6" beam provides plenty of volume both internally and on the rear deck. A bench seat at the helm has room for two and a U-shaped lounge opposite means your guests can socialise with the skipper and also take in the forward view when underway.
I really love the self draining rear deck with optional seating. This makes this area particularly versatile and flexible depending upon your hobbies - be it fishing, diving or just plain socialising. Full camper covers provide a total enclosure. The cockpit floor raises to reveal full access to the engines and genset.
Her white gelcoat is in fantastic condition for her age and was recently polished. All exterior upholstery is original and still looking fabulous thanks to a meticulous owner who keeps them covered when the boat is not in use.
Down two steps into the main cabin where she features the gloss timber cupboard doors and cream lacquer cabinetry, typical of the ROYALE model. All upholstery and carpets are well presented. Soft furnishings including bedspreads and curtains are the original factory decor option in keeping the overall colour scheme.
A double berth is situated in the bow and she boasts one of the best beds I've seen on a vessel of this size with a queen size transverse bed amidship. Privacy curtains separate these sleeping quarters from the rest of the cabin.
Powered by the Volvo Penta petrol stern drives, she scoots along nicely at 18 to 20 knots.
