This boat is an absolute machine. Most 7/8mt leisure cats are powered with 2 x 150hp. This has 2 x 250hp Mercury Verados. As a result she performs like nothing else. Cruise anywhere at 30knots and do over 42knots flat out. Sea Trialling this boat was a fantastic experience and really gave me a new understanding of how good the Leisure Cat's are.

Talk about huge deck space for cruising and fishing, massive sleeping quarters and a comfortable cockpit area. This boat has it all. This Leisure Cat 8000 Sportsfisher Series leaves the rest behind. She is set up for long distance, offshore adventures. She was up spec'd at the time of build with twin Call Now Mercury Verado four strokes with only 600 hours on them. The boat was bought by its current owner only 8 months ago. No expense was spared with major services on both engines, Nearly a full wiring re fit, new side clears and other upgrades. He's had a change of direction and wants to move into a smaller trailer boat he can beach launch around the state. This opportunity will not last.

Where to start?? As you approach from the rear you can easily board via the drop down stainless ladder that is great for climbing up when on the trailer or when you are fully rigged in your scuba gear. It is an easy step up and then step through the massive transom door into the huge back deck. The deck is covered in high quality cork that presents beautifully, remains cool under foot and is extremely hard wearing. Shade is supplied by a huge hard top that extends almost the whole aft deck. The hard top is great for lounging on top, storing swags and surfboards and doubles as a jumping platform for the kids. There is about 16 fishing rod holders around the outside of it, so all your rods can be carried safely. Brand new side shade curtains were fitted only 6 weeks ago that keep the back deck shaded and dry.

The back deck is huge, with under floor kill tanks, locking side lockers and high gunnels to keep everyone safe. More than enough rod holders for a solid team of fishos. Port side there is a high speed pot winch, the tippers is removable and slides into rod holders on the starboard side. Also mounted on the port side is a life cell, these are a safety briefcase that holds all your safety equipment and floats free if submerged. When floating fee becomes a float to hold onto if you are stranded in the water.

The cockpit/helm can be locked up, or kept open. The panels can be removed and changed out for a canvas door as pictured- there is a lockable door that comes with the vessel. The helm is well set up, with everything wrapped around the drivers position. Both the driver and passenger seats are comfy and well positioned for long journeys, the seats fold fwd to open up large storage boxes and a sink. There is a large 12" screen Raymarine Sounder/ Radar/ GPS complete with autopilot. She has an electric anchor winch to make life easy.

The cabin is easily big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. Lift up the port cushion/hatch in the cabin to find walk down into a toilet. This can be fully private once the cabin door is shut.

The fore deck is easily accessed via wide walk way gunnels and has good grab rail positions. Once up the front your passengers are safe as the bow rail wraps right around. On the front is a fold down stainless ladder that makes beach landing very simple.

The trailer is a full drive on drive off aluminium 4.5 ton trailer with a brand new electric winch. She tos effortlessly however legally you will need a 4.5t rated vehcile for serious tows.
