'WINNILYA' was built in Perth by Lawrence Bros. For Frank Boan of then "Boans Department Store', and launched in 1938. She has been owned by only two families in her 87 years.
Local jarrah was used for her keel while the hull planks were of New Zealand kauri. Nearly all the exterior wood work above deck and all the interior woodwork is either sheoak or silkyoak.
Two new Catapillar 125 HP diesel motors were installed in 2003 and have done only 1550 hours
