INTERESTING STORY - "Nord Sjarna" 46ft timber, built by Kevin McKenzie Gold Coast 1977... Previous owners, Jim Murphy, Tony Barton RIP, Ross Hembrow... After Jim Murphy sold her, he had "Nordlys" built, similar to "Nord Sjarna" at 50ft, Jim and his wife Nancy steamed her right around Australia for a shake-down cruise, before setting off all the way right around the world in her, including up into the great lakes and the Mississippi river, right up the west coast of the USA to Alaska, then home to Southport, then completing another trip to Singapore and back, then Jim sold her, this was al done with a single engine 6 cylinder Gardner.
