Kevin Dick designed and built cruising catamaran, in very good condition.
Kevin built this particular cat, "Burrita", for personal friends at his boat building operations in Noosa. Since then there have only been three families own this quality built, stable and volume motor cat. Kevin a genuine master craftsman, as many who know this style of boat would appreciate.
Ready to go cruising with everything in solid working order and maintained extremely well, an "honest" boat.
Very reliable & economical twin Leyland turbo diesel engines approx. 2,900hrs. Shaft drive with Borg Warner velvet drive gearboxes. Engine rooms clean and dry with good access both sides to engines, gearboxes and shafts.
Fuel burn combined around 12litres total per hour at 6/7 knots, with 1,200L diesel capacity & 600L fresh water plus isotemp hot water system.
The entire hull and decks have been sheathed in epoxy resin and glass, this makes maintenance very easy as it's effectively a 'glass' boat
Furono radar, dual Garmin & Simrad GPS/sonar, plus AP4 autopilot.
Westerbeke 5.4kVA genset with approx. 1,300 hours, 4 x SN150 AC Delco batteries (a dedicated battery for both starter and house on port and starboard sides, with commercial grade cabling throughout making engine room neat and tidy with long term reliability). Supported by 2x200W roof top solar panels and Victron gauges for house batteries.
With almost a 6m beam, providing a huge back deck which accommodates a large eutectic fridge & freezer, made for long range coastal cruising. Combined shower and toilet well located running off the back deck also. Two forward cabins, day bed plus kitchen table drops down and can comfortably sleep 6-8.
Airconditioned cabin with professionally installed split and condenser.
15 month old tender & 6hp Suzuki - 2.6m Swift aluminium hull, hypalon tubing plus tube covers for long term protection, tender the best we could find.
Lots of storage including a number useful spares included, all safety equipment up to date including 10 plus life jackets, 3 extinguishers, GME EPIRB, GME VHF marine radio, flares in date etc. Bluetooth enabled GME radio/stereo, plus 32 inch tv/dvd in one (newer tv but old school style).
Recently antifouled (using top quality Seahawk Biocop TF) plus all anodes & 3 x sea cocks changed out plus propeller bearings replaced apart of good routine maintenance. Hulls professionally detailed also. See recent out of water photos and video from early June 2024.

Remarks
Traditional style and class while the design allows for high levels of stability and strength at unmatchable fuel burn for the volume of the boat. Draft and protected keels allows for shallow mooring if required. Every one of the three families who has owned Burrita has loved this boat, simpliest way to put it.
