Description: Island Gypsy 30
Freyja (formerly Tolivar) is fibreglass hull number 7 launched in 1978. She is in near original condition with a Ford Tempest 120 hp diesel engine. She cruises at 6.5 knots using 7 LPH. She has 3,540 hours and has been regularly maintained and has log books. She has 900 liters of fuel in 2 tanks and 500 liters of water. All tanks have been cleaned in the last 6 years.
Internally she has an L shaped lounge with a table that drops into a double bed on the starboard side aft and a 3 seater lounge to port aft. She has a long galley with 3 burner smeg stove and oven, hot and cold water and plenty of counter space and storage space. The helm is on the starboard side with a fold up seat and a smaller cupboard behind the helm seat. Down stairs there is a bathroom on the starboard side with an electric toilet, sink and shower with hot and cold water. On the port side is a walk in cupboard with shelves that can be a pantry, clothes storage or a bit of both.
The V berth has 2 single berths with an insert and cushions to turn it into a large king size bed (still a V berth). There is drawers and shelving under the V berth giving heaps of storage. The V berth has a hatch and 2 windows for ventilation as well as 2 Siroco fans.
Outside the teak decks are original with walk around decks. The aft deck has room for a table and chairs and the teak swim platform has a ladder. The teak hand rails around the boat have been refurbished in the last 12 months and the saloon walls outside have been given a spruce up in the past few months.
Upstairs the fly bridge is of fibreglass construction with seating for 6-8 people on comfortable cushioned seats. The upper helm is on the starboard side allowing you to drive with a view. There is a full bimini above the seating with a targa and solar panels on the targa. There are also engine instruments, engine controls, anchor controls and a sounder. There are also speaker from the clarion radio down stairs.
There is 45 meters of 10mm chain, a new Sarca anchor and Muir Cougar windlass with controls at the helm.
She is sea kindly and has good sea manners. Her 1.2 meter draft and 4.6 meter height allows you into anchorages that many boats of this size cannot access.
