Pleasure Vessel - Explorer
o Overall Condition: Vessel had been stored on the hardstand for a long period in which the previous owner could not afford the costs of completed repairs and storage over the vessel and the vessel was offered for sale by tender. The hull is noted in good order and the main engine was tested and appears in good order, the stern bearing has considerable wear and will require replacing before the vessel is put back into full recreational use.
o The vessel was in Western Australia Survey till 2016 and has a revised Stability Booklet on board, regrettably, the survey has expired for quite some time. The vessel now carries all safety gear to be compliant with MSQ standards
o Over this period, the vessel has had engine repairs completed and the engine coaming was not replaced.
o Attention Required before being used for recreational use:
1. The engine space coaming midship will need to be replaced and made water tight
2. Navigational electronics mounted and tested.
3. Steering and morse controls to the 3 stations need to be made workable or the top and deck steering and morse control stations be removed.
4. A secondary bilge pumping system needs to be repaired and made operational.
