This stunning Halvorsen 44 Game Fisher Nooroo II was launched on June 20,1966, to a Harvey Halvorsen design for Merv McRae who later sold her to John Toohey and his family, and became famous taking charters on Sydney Harbour. Sir Frank Packer would use her as a support/tow boat when campaining Gretel II for the Americas Cup training off Sydney heads.
Nooroo II had a major refit in 2017 with key upgrades including; two near new D6 Volvos at 300hp each which currently have only 728 hours, Simrad electronics (touch screen) package, new Onan Genset, Muir electric anchor winch, decks and varnish all upgraded and treated, electric toilet, new upholstery, invertors, batteries, new chargers, covers, new stainless steel Ultra anchor.
