'Beluga' has to be the world's best example of this sort after model, and like fine wine, it can be said that 'Beluga' just keeps getting better with age - thanks no less to the considerable investment and attention to detail by her loving and generous recent owners. Add to that her unmistakable & timeless Grand Banks build quality, and the astute buyer should recognise this vessel as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity which she is.
The list of improvements and upgrades to 'Beluga' over the years are quite simply astonishing. She is stabilised at both underway and at rest which is a notable highlight. She is also equipped with late model touch screen electronics so nothing to spend in that department.
Within the last few years, her machinery was completely replaced with new engines and a new generator - her engine room is simply spectacular you won't want to get out! Within the last 18 months she is now equipped (with an international award-winning outcome no less) with a custom flybridge bimini system making this an all-weather zone from which to reel in the miles or entertain at anchor. Likewise she has recently enjoyed the switch to a Lithium house battery system, allowing entirely silent operation of the vessel (with selected air conditioning units running) for a superb whisper quiet night's sleep. Of course, she was recently treated to a Yacht Controller wireless docking remote and also a new lightweight OCTender. Her interior and exterior presentation, with respect to her hand-crafted timber surfaces and finishes, is superb throughout the vessel with the current owner showing great attention to detail in refinishing areas such as the galley fiddle rails.
Her substantial upgrades - across both engineering and cosmetic areas of the vessel - are all documented, invoice by invoice, onboard the vessel for potential owners to peruse. As above described this vessel has enjoyed an epic amount of money spent on her by her perfectionist & regardless of cost recent owners - which makes for a great boat to own next!
