There is room for as many as eight in the Sport Cruiser' single level cockpit, which includes a doublewide helm/aft-facing seat that converts into a sun pad. A comfortable sun lounge is opposite the helm, and there's a removable bench seat at the transom. Below decks, the cabin of the GS 279 is compact but efficiently arranged with a V-berth/dinette forward, a head, a-galley, and a mid-berth aft with sitting headroom. Additional features include a cockpit sink, an integral swim platform, and a walk-through windshield.
