GLANVILLE CUSTOM 52 FULL CABIN  

PROJECT STEEL 52ft Glanville is on the market, if you are great with your hands and looking for a project opting for a larger vessel this is the boat for you! Most of the hard work has been done! These particular vessels were built to Australian Navy Standards, not your normal steel hull, built to cut through the ocean.

1972 Custom Steel Glanville & Co 52, were built in Cairns.

The motor was completely stripped down. It has had a complete set of new Gasket and seal. New stainless steel plugs, heads and block have been honed and shaved.

The water pump has been completely rebuilt. It is ready for installation and new owner might want to negotiate price on this.

* Fuel Capacity - 7,000 litres contained in 2 x steel tanks with shut-off valves
* Water Capacity - 1000 litres contained in 2 x s/steel tanks with shut-off valves
* 12v pump operated H/C water showers,
hand-basin with 12v pump operated H/C water
* 2 x 12v systems on board and 1 x 24v system. One of the 12v/24v systems has 1000w feeding it the other is straight 12v with 800w feeding it. The straight 12v system is new and the 12/24v has been checked and redone by the same marine electrician
* New control panel installed on back deck
* New duck board lights installed. All lights and 12v outlets working.
* All the steel decks and walkways have been stripped down. Rust was cut out and replaced with new 6mm plate. The smaller areas were sand blasted. All decks have been primed using Carboline 2 pak primer and coated in 2 pak Carboline paint.
* The front collision bulkhead/ anchor well has been rebuilt. All rust cut out and removed, replaced with new steel. Then we sand blasted the interior ready for painting. Current vendors have done over 20k in welding!
* Interior - All the main timbers from the Gally, saloon, master cabin have been removed, stripped, sanded, stained and lacquered.
* All three stairways were also stripped and redone.
* All walls and ceiling in master cabin have been replaced and saloon walls have been stripped, sanded, primed and painted.
* 2 aircons on board, 1 is installed in the master cabin. The second is in the saloon. (Temporary installed)
* Front head has been stripped and painted. * Second head has been removed, old valves removed and new steel welded for suction and waste return. All primed painted.
* Last antifoul 2022
* Solar 1800 watts
