Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD the 2006 Fleming 55 'Meander'.

Fleming Yachts has refined the 55 model into a true living legend, making it one of the finest cruising yachts in her class. 'Meander' is a classic motor yacht showcasing exceptional craftsmanship, robust construction and elegant design. She is built for comfortable long-range cruising, featuring a semi-displacement hull that ensures a smooth and stable ride.

'Meander' offers an unusually large cockpit, which is an extension of the saloon. The acrylic wing doors to each side deck help with closing off the cockpit in blustery conditions. A hot and cold shower is conveniently placed near the inward opening transom door for transom use along with a Cookout gas BBQ at the back of the cockpit.

Stepping into the timeless saloon, 'Meander' features a comfortable L-settee to port set around a height adjustable table of unique design making it suitable for dining and as a coffee table. A cabinet to starboard powers the hi/lo 30" Samsung TV and space for entertainment system components.

The U-shaped galley is conveniently located on the same level as the saloon to port and is designed to be used while underway. There are ample storage lockers and drawers, and appliances include an upright GE side-by-side fridge/freezer with teak-panel doors and an ice dispenser, Miele oven, Kenyon three element electric cooktop, Advantium microwave, Miele dishwasher and Broan trash compactor.

Up a set of steps to starboard leads to the large raised pilothouse, with ample room for electronic equipment including her recent Raymarine navigation upgrade and a settee and table to offer excellent visibility, she is ready to go cruising. For added convenience, pilothouse doors onto each side deck beside the raised pilothouse provide easy access to the wide teak-laid side decks with handrails, designed for both adults and children to ensure onboard safety. Another easy access feature are the convenient interior steps that lead up to the flybridge. She is also Naiad fin stabilised while underway for maximum guest comfort.

'Meander' features a three guest cabin accommodation layout. The forward master cabin features a queen bed, two hanging lockers with shelves, under bed storage and a private ensuite. An additional two cabins offer further comfortable accommodations; the port guest cabin has two single beds and an additional upper single bed. The starboard guest cabin combines an office and one elevated bed. The guest cabins have easy access to the second head to starboard, which features a shower stall, basin and toilet.

Back in the cockpit, a ladder provides secondary direct access to the flybridge. A true entertainer space, the flybridge offers seating and table. Aft of the seating area is the separate boat deck for the Nautica 3.4M RIB launched via a Steelhead davit. The flybridge also features a hardtop and clears for protection from the weather.

The engine room houses a pair of Cummins QSC8.3's 540hp engines and the Onan 17 KW generator takes care of onboard power requirements when away from the dock including the Cruisair air conditioning and Sea Recovery Water Maker. The aft lazarette offers extensive storage space for cruising essentials.
