Continuing forward from the saloon and dining area to port, you seamlessly transition into the galley. The galley boasts an expansive wide bench that not only provides ample space for food preparation it also creates an inviting area for additional seating at the breakfast bar, making it a social hub within the yacht. You'll find a well-equipped area featuring an Isotherm bar fridge and freezer, Smeg four-burner gas cooktop, Electricaire rangehood, Panasonic inverter microwave, and a Fisher & Paykel two-drawer dishwasher and ISE Garbage Compactor for easy clean up.
Seamlessly blending into the galley is the centreline helm station framed by breathtaking 360-degree views making navigating the ocean a breeze. It boasts two comfortable helm chairs and a comprehensive array of Simrad electronics featuring a 19" EVO3 MFD incorporating a GPS Plotter, Sounder, Radar, and Autopilot. Communications include a Sailor VHF, GME VHF, and two Codan HF 4000 Marine Transceivers. For entertainment at helm an Alpine Bluetooth Stereo is on hand. 'Antipodean' is Pneumatic Fin Stabilised while underway for maximum guest comfort. For added convenience, there are pilothouse doors beside the lower helm station to both the port and starboard sides, providing the skipper easy access to the wide side decks when required.
The interior layout of 'Antipodean' is a harmonious blend of comfort and functionality, featuring a five-guest cabin accommodation layout. Stepping down the aft spiral staircase to port you will find the full-beam aft master stateroom. A private haven that is separate from the forward guest cabins. It features a king island bed, private ensuite, Panasonic 31" TV, walk-in wardrobe, lounge to port, additional set of drawers to starboard, and an additional Sailor C402 VHF for the owner's convenience. A Bomar hatch is fitted within the master stateroom, leading to the lazarette.
Back on the main level, you will find a forward spiral staircase positioned to starboard of the lower helm station which leads down to the forward guest accommodation. Twin midship cabins to port and starboard both feature a side-by-side double and single bed, private ensuite, and wardrobe. Forward twin bunk cabins both featuring single over and under bunks and a shared bathroom to ensure that every guest is accommodated. Alongside the shared bathroom is a utility room with two large custom storage cabinets and a Fisher & Paykel top-loading washing machine.
Back on deck, you ascend to the flybridge via the solid teak ladder from the cockpit, where you'll also find a closing hatch that serves as a private getaway. The flybridge is a true highlight, providing an immense open space perfect for entertaining. Curved around the port and starboard sides are fixed settees with removable upholstered cushions and a timber table to starboard. Forward is a central helm station and a comfortable single helm chair as well as additional moulded seating to both port and starboard adjacent to the helm station providing front-row seats for your guests. Aft of the flybridge boat deck 'Antipodean' is equipped with four large 1.5KW solar panels amplifying the vessel's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
At the bow are dual 98kg galvanized Dreadnought anchors connected to dual custom hydraulic horizontal windlasses, with a vertical capstan.
The engine room is an engineer's dream, featuring excellent access for maintenance via the watertight door located forward from the master stateroom passageway. A comprehensive workbench, and a mini workshop fitted to starboard with tool and storage lockers below. Powered by a Single Gardner 8L3B @ 250hp, boasting a max speed of 11 knots and a cruise speed of 9 knots.
