FAIRWAY 36 FLYBRIDGE CRUISER  

'Wistari' is a much sought after example of the Queensland-built Fairway 36 flybridge cruiser. Reluctantly offered for sale now due to health concerns.

This powerful, safe, well cared for and well built family cruiser offers top value and a luxurious cruising experience to her new owners.

Powered by a Cummins 315 shaft drive diesel engine, with only 2084 hours and a very clean engine room, 'Wistari' cruises economically at 8-10 knots using approximately 16 LPH and has top speed of 18-22 Knots. The engine was fully serviced May 2024 including new turbo, new stainless exhaust elbow and marine exhaust hose (cost over $11,500) guaranteeing minimum maintenance for years to come.

The aft cockpit is an area to gather for a BBQ, enjoy sunset sips or have a hot or cold shower on the swim platform. A fixed GRP cockpit roof and an extended sun awningadd to the cockpit experience. Pull out the folding deck chairs and table, kick back and relax. Up the stairs is the spacious flybridge area where most of the vital controls are duplicated. The flybridge offers panoramic views and padded seating for the guests and driver to enjoy well protected by the bimini sun cover. All boat covers new 2021.

Offering a light and spacious interior with quality timber joinery and tan carpeting throughout, 'Wistari' is a wealth of cruising options for a family or a cruising couple. Aprivate and bright double berth master cabin is located forward (with all bedding). To portis a private cabin with two single bunk berths each with a new custom made mattress (unused). A large head compartment to starboard includes a separate shower with ample light and ventilation. If you need to sleep extras from time to time, the L shaped saloon lounge converts into an additional double.

The wheelhouse saloon is a brilliant welcoming space with 360 degree views through large opening windows with fly screens. The long inline galley with two burner gas stove provides ample bench space and storage and the L shaped saloon lounge (with ample storage under) is ideal forplaying games, having drinks, watching TVor dining. Forward to port is the well equipped helm with easy access to allcontrols/instruments offering the skipper a comfortable and commanding position for safe, extended navigation. Beneath the helm seat is a chest freezer.

'Wistari' is well equipped to ensure a quality boating experience
including an electric anchor winch, a Xantrex 2000w inverter, Raymarine auto pilot (needs servicing), Navman fishfinder/GPS/depth/speed, 2 x DVD and LCD screen sets, 2 X AM/FM/CD players, speakers, custom made bedding, a quality German brass ship's chronometer and barometer, portable compass, electric kettle, toaster and BBQ tools.

'Wistari's' boasts a low maintenance, easy care interior together with LED lighting throughout plus insect screens, a microwave and a transom mounted stainless steel BBQ(new burners 2022). All comforts have been well considered and met.

'Wistari' comes with many new spares(serpentine belt, globes, impeller etc). Bilge pumps and water pumps were replaced September 2021. New TCM electric toilet (2022), new Engel refrigerator (2023), new stainless safety railing to improve access to the flybridge (2023). 2 x 350 litre stainless steel fuel tanks were replaced in 2014.

'Wistari' also comes with lifejackets, docking lines, fenders, crockery, bedding, cutlery, 2 x electric heaters, a vacuum cleaner and 4 x comfortable folding chairs in spacious cockpit plus a folding table.
