A Bruce Douglas designed timber long distance motor cruiser. Originally built for the Townsville Port Authority in 1964. Originally built to survey with five watertight bulkheads. This vessel was built to a specification not to a budget, no expense spared. 38 mm spotted gum planked hull, frames/ ribs/bulkheads, 60mm x 50 mm laminated timber ribs @220 mm centres. 120 mm x 65mm laminated timber stringers. Fitted with 190 HP Garner 83LB Deisel, fresh water cooled. Gardner gear box.
