Specialised Marine Sales are pleased to offer this ideal budget friendly package to the WA market with its NEW Mercruiser 6.2 / 300 stern drive, petrol, multi point injection, closed loop cooling engine showing just 75 hours from installation it is definitely punching above its weight in the current market offerings !!
A neatly presented boat for the vintage the new engine will give your family all the confidence needed for years of boating pleasure. A few simple cosmetic touch ups and this Crownline 250 will stand the test of time for another 20 plus years.
An extended swim platform will allow the family to access the water and jetties with ease or perhaps fit a BBQ to the rear Stainless Steel railing and shuffle a few crayfish around the hotplate for lunch. It couldnt get any better. Step over the transom and into a multi use Cockpit with a full width removable rear lounge and recessed aft facing lounge neatly fitting into the rear section of the double helm seat. Taking the rear lounge out will keep the fisherman happy with plenty of deck space and leaving it in while cruising the local waterways will have the family in total comfort.
Step up to the raised helm with all you need right at hand, Furuno electronics, Bennett trim tabs, Mercruiser smart craft gauges and a brace of switches. Excellent vision from the helm position making for safe passage with a clear passage to Port accessing the Saloon companion way.
A few steps down and the companion way and the Crownline 250 opens up infront of you with what could well be the a class leading forward cabin area. Options are aplenty with the forward U shaped lounge doubling as a sizeable forward berth im suggesting its bigger than a queen sized berth. Remove the dinette table and fold the port and starboard cushions to form a clever lounge assembly all with plenty of headroom and great storage below all the cushions. A smaller aft transverse double for the smaller members of the family with its own privacy screen will have the little ones making a cubby even before you have left the dock. I wish I was still so young !
A generous galley to the port side is not an after thought and offers a Stainless Steel sink, single element stove, microwave and a decent amount of storage. Lets not forget this is only a 25 foot boating package. Clever use of the available space has been cleverly done by Crownline in this 250CR. The same can be said for the head, normally just thrown in the corner on boats of this class, while not huge it is manageable and will have the family looking their best if required ofr some land time at the Quokka Arms.
Powered by a recently replaced Mercruiser 6.2 / 300 MPI, closed loop cooling modern engine that you will simply not find in any other Crownline of this vintage across their range on the current market in Australia. It is simply the big winner in the 250CR package and will have any interested parties quick to the phones. !!! Just 75 hours when we had her out of the pen for the photo shoot there is quite literally a lifetime of use ahead of her.
