Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD 2015 Clipper Explorer 50 Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht 'Pearl'.
'Pearl' is an exceptionally low-hour raised pilothouse flybridge motor yacht. She was designed by naval architect Mark Williamson from Australia. She features a semi-displacement hull design powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7 480hp diesel engines. She has just been antifouled, polished & detailed, and her capping rail brightwork refreshed with multiple coats of varnish - she now presents picture perfect!
Access to her cockpit is via her wide teak-laid hydraulic hi/lo swim platform, which houses a Brig Eagle 3.4m RIB powered by a Honda 30hp outboard.
Accessing the cockpit is via a single entry door on the starboard side of the transom. The teak-laid cockpit features a transom-mounted fold-up upholstered lounge seat. Before entering the saloon through the large stainless steel framed sliding door, you'll find top-loading fridge and freezer cabinets to both port and starboard. The hardtop overhang provides ample shade in the cockpit, ideal for Australia's climate.
Entering the classic saloon, 'Pearl' boasts a cozy L-shaped settee to port, arranged around a uniquely designed, height-adjustable table that serves both as a dining table and a coffee table. On the starboard side, a cabinet houses a hi/lo 40" Samsung TV, flanked by a pair of tub chairs that enhance interaction.
The spacious saloon and U-shaped galley are on the same level, with teak & holy flooring throughout. Forward to port, the well-equipped galley features Corian countertops with a Smeg electric cooktop, Smeg oven and Isotherm refrigeration. The galley provides ample meal preparation areas, adding convenience during mealtime.
Up a few steps you then enter the raised pilothouse, it features a comfortable helm seat and all the desired equipment for extended cruising - including the Raymarine 16 " hybrid touch screen electronics. Pilothouse doors to port and starboard provide both natural ventilation and ease of access out onto the side decks, while the walk-around side decks make access right around the boat safe and easy. 'Pearl' is also equipped with Wesmar fin stabilisers to enhance guest comfort while underway. Another ease of access feature are the convenient interior steps from the pilothouse that lead up to the flybridge.
She features a spacious two guest cabin accommodation layout, offering impressive headroom thanks to her high-volume design. The midship master cabin features an island queen bed with side tables and a private ensuite including a separate shower stall. Additionally, there's a forward VIP cabin with a centerline queen bed along with a separate ensuite facilitating the day head. Air conditioning throughout ensures comfort onboard.
Back in the cockpit, a ladder offers additional access to the flybridge. The flybridge is ideal for entertaining, featuring L-shaped seating to port and a bench seat to starboard, both fitted with comfortable cushions and matching pedestal tables. Behind the seating area is a dedicated wet bar, equipped with a Kenyon BBQ grill. The flybridge also includes a hardtop and clears for weather protection.
The spacious engine room houses twin low hour QSB6.7 Cummins engines and an Onan generator, offering a sprint speed approaching 18 knots when needed. With a fuel capacity of approximately 3,406 litres, she provides ample cruising range. The aft lazarette offers extensive storage space for cruising essentials.
The vessel design includes teak laid walk-around side decks flowing all the way through from the bow to the cockpit. The side decks are complemented by high stainless-steel handrails ensuring safety and comfort walking around the boat. Her anchoring equipment includes a 30kg/66lb S/S Claw anchor and Muir horizontal windlass with 100m of 13mm galvanised chain.
