The teak cockpit and flybridge, along with beautiful two pack paintwork and non-skid exterior decks, provide not only a visual feast but also a tactile indulgence, setting the stage for a journey in true style.
At an impressive 68 feet in length and weighing 52,600 kg when dry, 'Exile' is a vessel that commands attention. Its dimensions, coupled with a beam of 5.5m and a draft of 1.8m, create a harmonious balance of stability and performance. The fiberglass/GRP construction ensures durability and ease of maintenance and is further enhanced by her gleaming two pack painted exterior. While this vessel impresses as a small 'ship', she is easily handled by a couple while docking and at sea.
Step into Exile's saloon through a large glass and polished stainless steel framed sliding door and you're greeted by a world of refined luxury. With accommodation for up to 8 persons 'Exile' will comfortably accommodate all whilst aboard. The master and VIP staterooms are conveniently accessed via an ample skilfully crafted staircase aft in the saloon (starboard side). The master cabin is truly grandiose, featuring a king size bed, large walk in robe and opulent ensuite including a jacuzzi. The VIP guest cabin is located aft of the master stateroom and too features a King bed and large ensuite. Forward accommodation boasts 1 queen berth and 2 single bunk berths, both featuring ensuite bathrooms.
The galley is conveniently located midships on the same level as the wheelhouse and saloon. Equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a 600L Westinghouse French door fridge/freezer, a Bosch 4-burner cooktop, and a Bosch eco-clean stainless steel oven, the galley is any chef's delight. Additional features such as a Nespresso coffee machine, an Isotherm clear ice icemaker and a range of kitchen appliances make any meal preparation a pleasurable experience. Additional appliances that assist with all occasions include a Twin draw Vitrifrigo fridge in the cockpit, a Waeco fridge/freezer on the flybridge and a 142L Evakool fridge/freezer (new in 2023). 'Exile' is equipped with a 240v Headhunter water pressure system and a 50-litre Rheem water heater delivering five star experience.
The very spacious Flybridge on 'Exile' is easily accessible from the galley via a large, railed staircase, or aft by the way of a wide teak laid ladder. Both access points close off with large hatches that are gas strut assisted. Once on the flybridge the entertainment and relaxation options are almost endless. Centre piece mid ships behind the helm, a large deep set lounge wraps around another of the vessels beautifully crafted high gloss, pearl inlayed timber tables. Directly across from the lounge is a spacious benchtop and 'wet bar' that incorporates refrigeration, a stainless steel under bench sink and Miele volcanic rock BBQ grill. The Aft flybridge, with the tender deployed, offers an ample outdoor area with enough room for afternoon sundowners or a 'sunny side up' breakfast.
'Exile' boasts a state-of-the-art entertainment and navigation suite to ensure your journey is not only comfortable but also entertaining. The navigation equipment has been comprehensively upgraded in 2022 with Raymarine electronics at both the wheelhouse and at the flybridge helm. The vessel is equipped with a range of lighting options, including LED lighting throughout and indirect ambient lighting for a relaxed atmosphere. Entertainment systems include two 43" Samsung smart televisions (new in 2021), a CD player, a surround sound system in the saloon and Fusion stereo systems in the cockpit, flybridge and tender.
'Exile' is powered by twin Caterpillar C7 engines, each boasting 315hp. Coupled with a Twin Disc Gearbox and Nibral 5 Blade propellers, propel 'Exile' to a maximum speed of 12 knots and a comfortable cruise speed of 7.8 knots. With ZF electronic throttles at both helms it's easy to remain in control. An additional two stations with ZF hard-wired remote make docking a simple and safe process for two. The factory installed hydraulic Niad Stabilizers (serviced in March 2023), guarantee a smooth passage, stability is further complemented by Ocean Torque flopper stoppers ready for action whilst at rest.
With the ability to effortlessly provide long ocean voyages safety is a top priority on 'Exile', with a comprehensive set of safety features ensuring peace of mind for all aboard. The 8-person Zodiac life raft (serviced February 2022) is mounted in a quick deployment bracket on the aft flybridge rail that incorporates a hydrostatic release, a Life Cell unit is also nearby. The must have GME ACCUSAT EPIRB (expires January 2026), 'Exile' is equipped with a 106-litre Sea-Fire FM200 fire system (plumbed), multiple handheld fire extinguishers and Vimar flush mount smoke detectors. For added security, 'Exile' features a dual payload FLIR thermal camera, an ACR dual remote spotlight, and offshore flare kits (flares expire January 2024). Life jackets, life rings, and an array of bilge pumps from bow to stern further enhance safety measures.
'Exile' comes fully equipped for all on-water adventures, featuring a 3.8m Swift centre console RIB that is powered by a 60hp Yamaha four-stroke outboard and is fitted with a Raymarine Dragonfly depth sounder. For convenience a 2.5m Highfield inflatable (new in 2022) that is powered by a 6hp Tohatsu four-stroke outboard (new in 2022) has been added. The Nautical Structure HCD 1500 davit simplifies tender deployment.
Exile's electrical systems are designed for efficiency, reliability and redundancy. The vessel operates on a 12v (DC) / 24v (DC) / 240v (AC) system, with offshore power supplied by twin 22.5 Kva Onan generators which ensure a continuous power supply for all onboard systems. A large Inverter system is installed, at it's core a 4000w Mastervolt inverter/charger is connected to all power points supplying when needed, quiet, and always constant 240V power. The Inverter system works in conjunction with the house batteries consisting of 8 x 260Ah Full River AGM batteries delivers a large1040Ah total. Separate battery banks for Engines, both generators and bow thruster are all well-maintained, providing reliable power distribution and operation. 'Exile' is equipped with a range of battery chargers, with remote monitoring to keep everything in check. Additionally, 8 large Solar panels mounted on the flybridge roof, coupled with a TriStar solar management system, contribute to the vessel's energy efficiency. Shore power is managed through two shore power inlets, the Starboard side even features motorized Glendinning technology for ease of use. Large Victron isolation transformers ensure safe and reliable shore power utilization while moored in any marina.
