Presenting Unicorn II, a 1999 Carver Voyager 530. Unicorn II is a well-maintained vessel offering a remarkable cruising experience. The vessel comes equipped with upgraded Volvo TAMD 122P-B 610hp engines and modern Raymarine electronics, making it an ideal choice for those seeking reliability and functionality on the water.
As you step aboard Unicorn II you will see a large BBQ by Magna, ideal for enjoying lunch on the water. Also at the stern is the davit system for your tender or kayaks - the tender can also be lifted to the boat deck by the 275kg capacity hoist. You will then step into a fully enlcosed cockpit where your family and guests can enjoy socialising or roll up the clears for a spot of fishing.
Stepping through the sliding glass door you enter the salon with its attached galley. Here you can relax, cook, and enjoy each others company in comfortable surroundings. The salon is well lit by large panoramic windows that let you enjoy the view underway or at anchor. The galley is equipped with a Ceran 3 burner cooktop, large fridge and freezer, a double sink with insinkerator, trash compactor and ample storage. There is a ducted vaccum system, making for easy cleanup.
Walk up 3 steps and you are in the pilothouse with its helm station and wrap-around seating. Again the panoramic windows allow sweeping views. The skipper has a super-comfortable helm station from which to drive Unicorn and still be part of the social interaction with family and friends.
The pilothouse provides direct access to the flybridge. The flybridge is the third entertaining area on the boat. It has three seating areas - the helm for the skipper and companion, a wrap-around seating area with a table suitable for dining or playing games, and a double seat opposite. The table can be lowered to form a double bed for additional sleeping area if required. The boat deck is accessed from the flybridge (or the external cockpit ladder). Unicorn II comes with a slide that can be deployed from the boat deck for hours of fun. There is also a davit for lowering/raising the tender or other water craft.
When you want to stay out for more than the day, Unicorn II has three staterooms. There is the master cabin with a queen bed, lockers, lots of storage, a clothes washer and dryer. It has its own ensuite with a separate head, vanity area, and shower/bath. The master cabin is located mid-ship. The VIP cabin has a double bed in the bow of the boat and has a separate entrance to the day head and shower area. The third cabin sleeps two in under/over bunks.
With the multi-level living spaces and sleeping accommodations, Unicorn II is ideally suited for extended time away from the dock. It would also make the perfect live-aboard option.
Upgraded Engine Package: Fitted with Volvo TAMD 122P-B engines, this Carver Voyager 530 delivers reliable performance, ensuring smooth and efficient cruising experiences. Unicorn II has a bow thruster, stern thruster and a ShipController. The ShipController provides a capacity to control both engines and both thrusters from anywhere on the boat making leaving and entering a dock a stressless experience.
The electronics were upgraded in 2022 with a new Raymarine Electronics Package.
Flybridge: Features an Axiom Pro RVX 16-inch display, Raymarine p70Rs autopilot control, and iCom IC-M330GE VHF radio, providing essential navigation and communication tools for enhanced safety and convenience.
Pilothouse Helm Station: Equipped with 2 x Axiom Pro-S 12-inch screens, Raymarine autopilot control, and iCom IC-M330GE VHF radio, offering redundancy and ease of operation for navigation and communication needs.
