Caribbean 40' 2000 model with 450hp Cummins

Current owner has owned her for the past 10 years and loved the entire experience.

This model Caribbean is so versatile she is almost a chameleon, one day a family cruiser sitting at an anchorage soaking up the sun and the next she is doing battle in the open ocean with a large blue marlin attached. The 3rd day she is a floating caravan with all the amenities of a luxury apartment.

The galley is well equipped with all the creature comforts of home, 2 burner ceramic cooktop, large under bench fridge, with additional top load freezer, convection microwave, loads of storage. As a bonus the galley is one step lower than the salon, so you are always in the party and not tripping down steep stairs.

This vessel is well maintained, the owner has all the skills and technical ability to conduct this task at hand. It is serviced every year regardless of the hours clocked up during the year. For anything beyond his skill set he engages sub-contractors who specialize in the particular field required.

She has a dashboard filled with late model Furuno electronics including fwd facing sonar

The helm is very comfortable with 1 helm chairs and fwd facing lounge, the clears are in good nick, the rear awning has been replaced, great visibility all round the boat for the skipper. All the normal items on the dash, autopilot, stereo remote. Engine management gauges

Internally she has the master cabin fwd with a large queen/double island bed, port side has a twin bunk room that is very generous. Stbd is the large head, with separate shower, big vanity and vacuum toilet. If additional berths are required the salon lounge folds up providing an additional 2 beds.

Gelcoat is good condition due to regular detailing, teak deck is in good condition.

The 40 Caribbean is renowned for the extra large cockpit, I would say the biggest cockpit in any 40' boat ever manufactured.
