Our beloved Timaru is for sale!

We purchased her 9 years ago in Port Stephens and cruised her down to her new home in Sydney Harbour on a 19hr voyage in 3-4 ft swell.

She has received a lot of makeover to accomodate our family of 5(+dog) on weekend stays in Sydney Harbour and holidays to Pittwater and Hawsbury River. Each New Year we anchor her of the Zoo to watch the Harbour fireworks.

We are not getting constant use of her anymore, as our kids are growing up, so we decided to sell.

Timaru is set up for liveaboard:

4 bunk beds with room for a mattress on the floor between the bunks,
450L freshwater tanks
80L for toilet flashing
60L toilet waste holding tank ( 10mm thick )

2 x 9 LPG tanks professionally plumped to a reliable gas cooktop/grill, gas bar fridge/freezer, and weber BabyQ.
Original, reliable 6-cylinder Perkins engine naturally aspirated ( 6 piston rings on each piston type) and hydraulic borg warner transmission that never misses a beat. It has stainless heat exchanger and exhaust manifold.

4 years ago we renewed the oil packing on the engine and the transmission.
2 years ago we fitted a " back saving" brandnew electric anchor winch to pull up a 15kg "bruce type" anchor.
Fabricated a stainless platform at the rear of the boat for easy access.
There is also a professionally welded jumping plank on the roof.
400 watts total (200 each) solar panel that keep the starting two batterries and two 100ah each agm deep cycle house battery charged and healthy.

Two helicopter wind propeller on the roof to keep the birds away when in the mooring.
The two cockpit windshield can open up to keep airflow during hot weather.
Boat command is also installed.
Dual helm station.
Hydraulic steering gear
400L diesel fuel tank.

Honda 4 stroke engine and Finns tender is included in the sale.

She can cruise easily at 6 kts at 1500 rpm and consumes 6 liters/ hour of diesel fuel.

She just need to be slipped this year before you continue enjoying her.
