Description: Bertram Caribbean 23 Sports Runabout.
The Bertram Caribbean was designed (and built) to handle rugged offshore conditions. These sea-kindly hulls with their functional, spacious cockpits have gained the respect of fishers in the know over many years.
"North Western" has always been dry-stored under cover and presents in SUPERB condition. In July 2021, she was RE-POWERED with a NEW 300 HP Mercruiser 350 (CI) MPI with ALPA 1 GEN II Sterndrive (all new gauges and controls) giving an economical (35 lph) cruise speed of 20 to 25 knots. The equipment includes rod holders, a bait board, berley cage, a swim platform/ladder and a bimini with side curtains and an opening panel over the helm. The anchor is on a 12v Maxwell power windlass. Electronics include a Lowrance plotter/sounder and VHF & UHF radios. There are two berths and a toilet forward. A tandem trailer is included. Note; the electric brakes were recently upgraded at a cost of $7000.
