All electronics have also been updated with monitored automatic charging and an inverter for 240 volt use. All switch boards have been replaced as shown in the photos along with new fresh water tanks and supply lines. The helm is equipped with digital controls for easy handling and navigation has been updated to a touch screen Garmin GPS and Sounder units. All in all this awesome Bertram 28' is now a 37 knot rocket machine with the styling to match. The interior has had a complete makeover with an open servery bar linking the galley and cockpit and a dinette that converts to a sultry day lounge with the original V-Berth still available for extra accommodation and storage. The large cockpit now resembles a gentleman's cruiser with fixed Teak lounge chairs and a sunbed cushion makes great use of the engine box for lady's who like to lounge. Everywhere you look on this exceptional vessel has been updated or replaced with the standout feature being the open-able forward windows to allow the breeze to drift through on a hot day in your favourite bay.
