Description: Air Rider 11.0 Custom Offshore Fishing Vessel
*Twin Yanmar 6LY440's recently commissioned and just run in with 30 hours showing*
A fishing vessel like no other, the stability and sea-going ability of the famed Global Marine Design Air Rider hull combined with the reliability of the Yanmar 6LY440's and Conrad Stern Drives, you'd be forgiven for thinking this is a rescue boat as it is built to handle any mission you take on.
Built for a soft ride and with the ability to get up and go, with a top speed of 35 knots and very economical cruise burning 100L/H at 25 knots, this vessel is kitted to venture as far as Scott Reef. Drop it right down to trolling speeds and the Yanmars run on tiny sips of diesel. Amazingly smooth and surprisingly quiet for an aluminium vessel with twin inboard diesels, a sea trial will impress even the most fussy buyers.
A 150L live tank will keep your catch fresh for the return trip and the expansive aft deck allows for many lines in the water, stacking up the pots or plenty of space for divers to get in and out. There is plenty of space to walk around the wheelhouse both sides, ensuring easy traversal to the bow.
The fully enclosed air-conditioned wheelhouse is the perfect way to shelter from a harsh Southerly, with a forward raked windscreen, suspension helm seat and plenty of space in the forward hold below deck, including a head. V-Berth accommodation can be easily retrofitted, ready to be designed and specified to the next owner's taste. Dual dash mounted Raymarine E120W displays coupled with the 3D Digital Radar makes hunting fish a breeze. The Yanmar electronic throttle controls and digital readouts are easy to use and give the skipper a handle on the vessel data.
The tuna tower has a full set of controls and a plotter to ensure the skipper has all the tools in his arsenal and a superior vantage point to land the big gamefish. There is space up on the roof for at least three crew.
"Blue Yonder" is the product of a dedicated fisherman's dreams and Gavin Mair's expert design. There is simply too much to list here so book in an inspection or email for a full list of options and specifications. The vessel can be put through AMSA survey at purchaser's expense, be sure to speak to Matt, Tom or Luke to learn more.
