28.8m Twin Screw Tug


Wangary, L 100A1 Tug LMS UMS, (formaly Corsair) is a Mirlees Blackstone powered, twin screw / steering nozzels tug.

This magnificent tugboat was built by Carrington Slipways in Tomago, NSW in 1976. Her designed speed is 12 knots and bollard pull is 42.17 tonnes ahead, and 25.6 tonnes astern.

Take a look at the photos; this fine vessel has been loved and looked after all her life, you could eat your dinner of any surface on the boat. She is still a great Habour Tug but wouldn't she make a fine training vessel or set her up for harbour tours.

She is due a 5 year survey and docking in June this year. Owners are askiing $350,000, as is where is, Port Lincoln, SA.
