Slice of Heaven was launched in 2018 and was built to be a permanent live aboard houseboat with all the necessary equipment to be off grid. The entire boat was built in aluminium and measures 22m x 8m.
The pontoons were professionally built using 4mm aluminium sheet and 10mm plate at the bows and sterns. Both pontoons have a huge amount of bracing giving them great strength.
The entire house frame was built using 3mm aluminium RHS and even the floor is aluminium planking that is 25mm thick. The entire boat is very rigid and over engineered.
The build plan is unique as it includes the ability to accommodate a Suzuki Jimny to enable the resupply of food, fuel and water as well as allow transport further afield. The garage also has a large amount of storage for tools and other gear. The front of the boat was reinforced and has extendable ramps for the car. One of the ramps also has a removable hand rail to allow it to be used as a more permanent 'plank' for getting on and off the boat.
It would be possible to convert the garage into another forward lounge/bedroom.
There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and the main has an ensuite. There is s a third bedroom with a bunk bed with the bottom being a double bed. The helm also has a comfortable couch/fold out bed which creates a fourth bedroom.
The rear living area is large with 180 degree views of the river. There is a large corner lounge suite with recliners and a comfortable dining suite. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances including a dishwasher. There are two fridges on board with the second located off the hallway and both have digital inverters.
The central hallway includes built in cupboards which house a washing machine and plenty of storage space.
The rear deck is 3 metres long and is covered by the main roof which makes for a large shaded area. There is an outdoor corner lounge, additional outdoor chairs and a bbq. The swim deck is 2 metres long and includes a large storage box for jerry cans and fenders. The top of the box is at deck height which increases the area of the back deck. The back deck was designed to be open however there is temporary fencing and gates that can be easily installed if you have children on board. There is a set of heavy duty rails to allow a jet ski to be mounted on the rear swim deck which has also been reinforced to cope with the extra weight. There is an outdoor shower on the swim deck with hot water.
The top deck is large and includes a bar, 4 comfy stools, a five seat outdoor couch with a large table and additional seating options. There is a smart TV that folds down from the roof with a custom made cover when not in use.
Engines are 60 hp Honda outboards and the generator is a 6 KVA Onan Cummins marine diesel genset that has been neatly installed within the starboard pontoon. All have been meticulously maintained and are in good condition.
The electrical system is 48 volts and consists of 24 x 2 volt batteries weighing 60 kgs each. The inverter/charger is 5 KW, the boat has a shore power isolator and a 12 volt converter and an additional 12 volt system throughout the boat. There is 2.5 KW of solar located on the top deck roof at the rear of the boat. A/C is a split system with 4 head units throughout the boat. There is also gas heater on board that is plumbed in.
The black/grey water tanks are combined with a total of 2500 litres. There is also a 420 litre fresh water tank with taps in the kitchen and the two bathrooms.
Slice of Heaven has good quality furniture and fittings which includes custom made internal blinds with pelmets and sheers in the bedrooms for privacy. Both sides have custom made external blinds that cover the full height of the boat.
Jet ski, 4WD and kayaks are not included in sale price but will be sold separately.
Boat was last slipped December 2024 and insurance survey completed.
