Description: Caraid of Hobart -Charter business in Vanuatu
SHE SURVIVED THE CYCLONE WELL DUE TO THE QUALITY OF THE BOAT AND ABILITY OF THE SKIPPER.
I have had emails asking how she survived, and with the similar themed comments "HOW DID THE OLD GIRL SURVIVE THE BLOW. THE BEST TASMANISN FISHING BOAT OF THEM ALL. AND THE BEST SKIPPER. ALL THE BEST JACK M. "

One of those rare opportunities to have a change of life beyond imagination. With a crew who have been with the boat for over 10 years, and a business that can run itself, or be run by the new owner.

Caraid is a classic Tasmanian vessel built in 1950 of N. Z. Kauri in the traditional way.
She is a mizzen staysail ketch with romantic red sails with full Charter and safety survey for fifty people.
Caraid has a spacious deck area, plenty of seating and room for dancing. She has a large galley, spacious lounge area, and a large shower / toilet area.

"Make sure you book a tour with Meridian Charters for this fabulous two hour trip. The boat is unique, being a King-Billy pine ex-fishing boat, from Tasmania, which has been converted to cater for up to 50 and offers the sunset cruise as well as a snorkelling and sail adventure..
The perfect pre-dinner cruise, sailing out of Port Vila Harbour just before sunset and returning in time to catch a light dinner afterwards. French wine, bubbles and the local beer are on offer and the local N'Van crew are friendly and full of information.. Also great to talk with other travellers who are eager to share their "finds" at the end of a glorious day exploring. Have a chat to Captain George, who is a mine of information as well.
We ended up seeing the most amazing array of reef fish and sunbaking at Paradise Cove. Bliss!"
