Designed by the world's most successful catamaran designers in VPLP and Nauta design, and built in the Group Beneteau factories this mix of naval architecture experience, interior and exterior design along with trusted production skills has fused to create a brilliant sailing new performance cruising catamaran that is fast and fun to sail, beautiful to look at and a pleasure to be on board.
Extensive research was done by the VPLP race division to ensure only the right amount of structure required so there is no excess weight. Carbon, foam sandwich and bio resins have been used where needed to increase stiffness and reduce wight, giving you a strong and more enjoyable catamaran to sail. VPLP bring all their experience from designing the world's fastest mono and multi-hulls the world has seen.
In the Excess 14 no comfort has been left behind. Nauta design and Groupe Beneteau are world leaders in the design and build of luxury cruising catamarans and this experience is evident in the new Excess 14 with brilliant deck and cockpit areas as well as an interior you can comfortably live aboard for long periods.
