Description: Stuart 42
NOT FOR SALE
Then why put it in these pages?
Because it is long past the time that a statement is made about Australian Designed and built boats.
This is a not for profit project that will employ Australian professional craftsmen, and use local suppliers of quality marine fittings and hardware.
This is a ballasted boat with 1.5 to 2 ton of encapsulated lead, which gives it a righting moment down to and beyond 95 degrees.
This will be a long range ocean crossing vessel, with an aft wheelhouse, and forward facing windows.
Stabilising wings will be fitted, that exit the hull under the water line and retract into twin centre board casings, that will be situated in to the engine room compartment
The project started in March of this year, and will be
launched in around 15 months.
