You can have your vessel hand built on the Gold Coast (Australia) by James Keay who is an award winning designer. This vessel was designed by James for the charter industry and domestic market and is currently utilised in service throughout Australia, this proven design is well established in the market place. James understands that we are in a world where flexibility is the key and the Cruisecat design provides the platform for you to build the boat of your dreams.
James designed the Cruisecat vessels in 2003 and since then has been in producing them for both the charter and domestic arena. It has been built to allow for diversity where you can design your Cruisecat with higher hulls, modify the design layout all to suit your needs. As an example, in the main saloon, as most of the components are modular, they can be placed in any area you would like; for instance, the saloon table which is usually found on the port side opposite the galley but James can modify his design if you would prefer to have it in the forward area of the saloon. You also have the option of making the saloon settee larger.
When you enter the vessel, the L shaped galley containing a sink unit and a refrigerator is positioned immediately starboard; the galley is set into a huge Corian island which is normally used for food preparation or navigation. Walking down a few steps to the level below the saloon, a large roomy head with approximately 6'. 4" headroom has been built this island.
