Description: Aquila 36
Designed to be a luxury weekend family boat, the Aquila 36 can also transform into an ocean-going fishing boat, dive boat, or even passenger vessel. She is outboard powered sports catamaran, sporting a fabulous deck with forward seating for 12 and a total seating capacity of 20. Forward there is seating for 8 which transforms into two double sun beds. Aft there is seating that also transforms into a double sunbed, providing comfortable sunbeds for 6 folks at one time. The aft platform has storage for a large swim ladder or an optional hydraulic swim platform on seen on luxury yachts before. This makes access to and from the water a breeze.
Choose from a collapsible Sunbrella Bimini or the expansive hardtop with an optional electric sunroof. The wraparound windscreen is larger than most 55 foot yachts due to the expansive on deck salon with a wonderful summer kitchen. Add the optional BBQ for family cruising or for those planning on larger groups of entertaining a second BBQ and additional refrigeration can be handled.
The drivers seat has excellent visibility all round and a companion seat to starboard. To port is a comfortable two-seater. As with all Aquila Power Catamarans, a safe comfortable walk through to the forward deck is standard. As standard there are boarding gates in the hull both port and starboard. In addition to all this wonderful space there are two separate companionway entries that lead down to a cabin with ensuite head and shower in each hull. Expansive windows greet you ensuring a feeling of space and comfort. Excellent storage is found all around. Add the optional air conditioning and you are sure to be comfortable in all conditions.
Performance of the Aquila 36 is guaranteed as extensive testing has been completed over a number of months. With the incredibly smooth and quiet Mercury Verado motors well over 30 knots of speed can be attained (speed is dependent on engine selection from 2 x 250hp with options up to a max of 2 x 350hp and overall weight dependent on options and passenger capacity). The very high bridge deck clearance assures a smooth ride.
