Built by the esteemed Alexander Robertson and Sons (Yacht Builders) Ltd of Sandbank, Dunoon, Argyll, 'Ron of Argyll' features a majestic hull crafted from teak, complemented by Oregon mast and spars.

Her illustrious history spans continents and decades. In the glamorous 1960s, she graced the azure waters of the West Indies, hosting Hollywood's elite, including the iconic Marilyn Monroe. In the vibrant 1970s, she set sail for Australia, where she has resided since.

In a testament to her enduring beauty, 'Ron of Argyll' underwent a comprehensive restoration from 1991 to 1994, culminating in her triumphant participation in the prestigious 50th anniversary of the Sydney to Hobart race. In 2006, she underwent further enhancements, including the replacement of standing and running rigging, a new engine, sails, and rewiring, ensuring she remains a paragon of maritime excellence for generations to come
