The Haddock was built in 1962 by De Vries Aalsmeer (Feadship) under building number 569. She had a major refit in 2007/2008. She is a perfect mid sized long range classic cruising vessel. She combines a beautiful classical design with a practical use for 7 guests in three cabins and is all combined with the pedigree of Feadship.

The classic interior is a nice combination of Mahogany wood combined with light panelling. Over the years the interior has been upgraded and modernized without loosing its charm of a classic.

There is accommodation for 7 people in three cabins. There is a luxury owner's cabin with a king size bed and ensuite shower. There is a three persons' guest cabin with one double bed and one single, also with its own facilities and there is a beautiful second guest cabin completely forward, with a double bed, also with its own facilities. The main living area is the saloon, which is combined with little stairs with the steering position. In the saloon you will find a nice comfortable seating area which can be changed into a dining. In the same area you will find a nice bar arrangement combined with a wine storage cabinet.

Midships you will find the fully equipped galley, equipped with halogen cooker, microwave and hot air oven, refrigerator Danfoss 24 V, refrigerator Coolmatic 24 V, freezer Liebherr 24v/230v. Dishwasher Bosch, combined washing machine and dryer Bosch, icemaker.

General
This twin screw diesel motor yacht built in 1962 by De Vries Aalsmeer (Feadship). LOA 19m, beam 5 m, draft 1.50 m. Steel hull with aluminium superstructure with teak decks. Tonnage 50 tons, fuel capacity 2,200 litres, water capacity 2,000 litres, grey water 500 litres. Engines: 2 x Mercedes Diesel OM352,130 hp (1973). Generator Diesel light Austin MDL 8 kW. Vosper stabilizers Maxi-Fin.

The yacht had a complete overhaul in 2007/2008 at the Spiro Shipyard in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. The hull was completely measured, all double skins were removed and replaced by new steel plating where necessary. After sandblasting the whole hull back to bare steel, a new layer of two component filler was applied and the hull was sprayed in the colour Flag Blue with the paint system Alexseal. During this refit the bull work was partly replaced with the use of stainless steel material and several systems onboard were overhauled as well.
